Famous writer, Ivan Klima from Czech Republic in his book "The Spirit of Prague" writes about this idea that what can be thought as the best symbol of the city of Prague ,which can best reflect the whole spirit of the city in it's existance. After reviewing the history , monuments and different places in the city of prague the writer comes to this conclusion that no other place can be worthy for this pride except the exclusive bridge in the historic and central part of the city:"Charles bridge".
The bridge has been the passage for people and many armies over the span of several hundred years, and has witnessed numerous historic events. All of these events occurred in front of the eyes of thirty holy statues raised on both sides of the bridge from beginning to end, at regular intervals . This photo is taken in early morning and before mass tourist rush. .
